What is Glaucoma and how to diagnose it

   Glaucoma surgery includes microscopic incisional trabeculectomy, shunt tube implantation, and  cyclophotocoagulation. Newer procedures such as invasive glaucoma surgery and MIGS are  subtle surgeries that help treat pressure on the optic nerve. When considering glaucoma surgery,  have a thorough discussion with your eye doctor. Understand the risks associated with each and  the benefits of each. Diagnosis of glaucoma Your eye doctor will take a thorough medical history and perform a thorough eye exam. The  doctor will perform several tests before deciding on the type of glaucoma surgery.
